Step 1: Have The Man make the pizza dough
Step 2: Roll the dough out
Step 3. Brush the dough with garlic & olive oil. I also sprinkled basil on top.
Step 4: Spread the sauce (I had homemade in the fridge that I used. You can use the jar stuff if you don't have any homemade.)
Step 5: Add cheese
Step 6: Add any other topping you want
Step 7: Feed the dog
Is it weird that she sits to eat? |
Step 9: Slice and enjoy!
Pizza is my favorite food so anyone making it from scratch is too cool for words :) I laughed how you threw in feeding the dog because in reality you can't start something and finish without some little one (pets included) getting your attention. I love this, thanks for sharing!

That looks delish! I will have to try this once the soldier is back! It has to be better than Little Ceasers and the closest thing we are going to get to NJ pizza here in TN!
ReplyDeleteMy man makes the dough, usually enough for 2, so we freeze one and use the other. I make mine on my PC stone, but pretty much do the same as you except for step 7 (I feed the cats) and once I pop it in the oven (we do 500 degrees for about 8-10 min, nice and brown) and I'm done, the man then takes over and I enjoy!
ReplyDeleteLooks amazing! Thanks for stopping by my blog :)
ReplyDeleteYum! We love to make our own pizza too...it tastes so much better than store bought!
ReplyDeleteMMMM...I made homemade pizza last night too. But I hadn't thought about using garlic with the olive oil on my dough...that is a great idea I'll have to try.
ReplyDeleteStill need to make pizza from scratch for my 101 in 1001. How did you make your sauce?
ReplyDeleteJust stopping over from the blog hop. Love the animal pictures. I have a few animals myself. =)
ReplyDeleteYum! I've never thought about making pizza. I might have to try!
ReplyDeleteOH sounds oh so yummy..
ReplyDeletequestions:
1: how do you make the dough?
2. How do u make the sauce?
We love homemade pizza, too! And your dog is too adorable for sitting down to eat. hahaha!
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to make homemade pizza!! This looks amazing! And my dog does the same thing sometimes.
ReplyDeleteYum! That really looks delish! Haven't had homemade pizza in a long time, maybe now is a good time to make one! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI recently got a bread machine and I hear it makes fabulous pizza dough. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm eager to!
ReplyDeleteThat pizza looks wonderful :) I think I'll add that to the menu for one of the nights this week.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the idea :)

ReplyDeleteThat pizza looks really yummy. I have been itching to make some homemade pizza for a while but I have to find a really good gluten free dough.
That pic of Miss Molly eating is too cute! And it's not weird at all, Beauford sits to eat as well. I guess they are much like humans - I prefer to sit when I eat...
ReplyDeleteThis looks great!! We like to slightly grill the dough on the BBQ grill before topping and baking. I like to call it a poor man's stone oven :)
