Friday Fill-In

Wow, it's March!  2011 is flying by.  What better way to welcome it than with a Milspouse fill in?  Head over to Wife of a Sailor to get the questions and link up!

1.  Do you or your {spouse} ever wish your {spouse} was in a different branch of the military?

Nope.  The Navy is working just fine for us!

2.  What duty station(s) are on your “No Way, Hell No, Not Going, Have Fun Unaccompanied” list and why?

I don't think there is a base that I would send him to unaccompanied by choice.  He would only go by himself if the Navy told us that's the way it was going to be...otherwise I'm going with him.  I"d rather be with him in a yucky place than in a nice place without him.  But that's just me.  However, we do each have a list of duty stations that we would prefer not to go to.  The ONLY ONE that leaves is where we are right now.  He is willing to go to Groton, CT since it's close to my family.  Since he's a sub guy there aren't that many duty stations..for sea duty anyway.  We don't talk about shore duty much...

3.  If you could be one age forever, what age would you choose and why?

I think I would chose my twenties.  I know isn't one age, but I would start with 22 and go through 29.  Graduating college, living overseas, teaching in the US, meeting The Man, getting married and moving...I would do it over and over again!

4.  If you were a breakfast cereal, which one would you be?

I asked The Man and he first said he wasn't going to go with the obvious of Nut N' Honey.  He then spend several minutes contemplating the question, becoming a little distracted by the episode of Mythbusters that was on.  He finally decided Kix.  He chose that because I appear plain yet once tried I'm completely irresistible and exactly what he needs.

5.What is your morning beverage of choice and why?

Hot tea.  I prefer a cup of green tea but I'll drink what ever is on hand!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  8. Stopping by on the hop to have a nose and say hi! Loved the little interview ;D My favourite tea is Morning Breakfast or ASSAM. We don't get that cereal here or in KU To my knowledge - I'd be a cornflake because I'm a little flaky ;D Shah .X

  9. Coming from the hop! Good morning! I'm so jealous that you are in Washington! I love it there. I too love tea. My favorite right now is Tazo's Zen. It is so good hot or cold so even if I forget about it all day it still tastes delicious. Kind of gross, I know! Oh! And I can't wait to try some of your recipes! They look delicious!
