Tricky Thing…

…Trimesters are.  No one breaks them down the same way.  It seems like it should be simple enough but it’s not.  So according to this site, I’m in my third trimester (YAY!) while this one says I still have another week to go (BOO!)  Since it’s my body I’m going to say I’m finally in my third trimester.  Since I’m really paying more attention to weeks, I’m 27 weeks today.  It’s fun watching that number get smaller.  Only 13-15ish weeks to go (I’m trying to prepare myself for going past my due date.)

I’m still not huge, which I’m ok with but I am getting bigger.  Getting out of bed at night can be pretty funny at night.  I almost always wake up The Man and get a sleepy “What’s wrong?”  I always answer nothing, I have to pee but one day he may be in for a surprise.  I wonder if I should do a practice run?  It would be fun to see how he reacts!

The heartburn got so bad that I finally got a prescription.  Let me tell you, I had forgotten what it was like to be heartburn free.  I shouldn’t have waited so long!

  1. It's amazing how sites can't match things as simple as trimester dates up. I always wondered how they figured it out each time I was pregnant. I would laugh if you did a test run. That is definitely something you should blog about if you do it. :-)

  2. A test run would be so funny! I think I should have done that with the Sailor.  But we had an induction in the end anyway, so it didn't really matter.  :)  Yeah, I got to the point that I just stopped paying attention to  what "trimester" they were classifying me in.  It's so hard to keep track... Love the picture! :)

  10. We sorta did a test run.  I was laughing/crying too hard to tell him it wasn't the real thing.  Yay for being in your last trimester.  Hope things go smoothly for you!

  12. You look amazing!!  I was huuuuuuuge. People were saying "Wow, you're ready to pop!" before I was even into my 3rd trimester. I was always tempted to respond: "Thanks for punching me in my fragile self-esteem, total stranger at the grocery store."  But I just smiled. :)  Loving your blog!!

  16. Thanks! I'm pretty small and was impatient to show. I'm feeling huge now even though I'm not:) I'm wondering how big I will get!

And those comments? That's just mean! People should know not to say that to pregnant women!
