I love coffee mugs. We own more than will fit in our cabinet. I don’t have the desire to get rid of any of them though! I don’t know what it is but I do love me a good mug. I have a few favorites at the moment. Toping the list is this baby:
My mom bought it for me for Christmas. It’s made in Washington and is perfect for keeping your hands warm in the winter. I reach for it whenever I’m going to have tea or hot cocoa.
For coffee, I reach for this one. I love the little giraffe inside! It’s like a little surprise each time he appears. I like that the coffee makes it so I can’t see him. Drinking tea in the mug just isn’t the same!
When I want a lot I reach for my elephant mug. I love elephants and I did a little happy dance when I saw this one at Pier1. Pier1 always has great mugs. In fact, all of them except the first one came from there! The Man has one like this, except his is a gorilla.
When I’m in the mood for something pretty, I reach for these:
They’re just dainty and pretty. They make me happy whenever I look at them. I know a coffee mug is a little thing but it’s amazing how big a little thing can be. I promise that my coffee/tea/hot cocoa tastes better when I drink them out of my favorite mugs!

ReplyDeleteI love mugs. For Christmas I asked for a pretty mug. My husband ordered one that said "keep calm and latch on". Yup as in breast feeding. Sure I am proud to breast feed, but that is so not what I was looking for when I asked for a cute one. I am hoping he redeems himself for valentines day.
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh. I have a tab on my blog called "mug shots"- it takes you to a flikr album with just pictures of my mugs! Who knew this was a thing???? (the giraffe is amazing)
ReplyDeleteI always use the "pretty ones" when I visit. They are just the right size for me. At home I do have favorite mugs, my "Nyack" one, my "Starbucks" one with the cover and then I have ones that I just use for soups. Yup mugs are important!!!
