I find the word beginning to be full of hope and promise and anticipation. There’s excitement of what’s to come. Anything can happen.
Take a baby. There is so much promise for a baby. They have their whole life in from of them and anything could happen. There is such promise. There are so many things that they can do. As they grow, they have so many firsts that are fun and exciting. The first time they roll, sit up and walk. There is the first time they ride a bike or go down a slide. Then there is the beginning of their school years. It’s a blank slate and anything can happen.
I have a new beginning starting soon. My mom is moving to WA. It’s a new beginning in the fact that I haven’t had my mom nearby for any of my married life. It will be wonderful to have her nearby to do thing with. It will also be nice to have her babysit so The Man and I can have date night. It will be a new chapter,a new beginning in our relationship. I know that it might be bumpy in the beginning as she will be living with us, but I think it’s going to be great. I’m so excited and thankful that she’ll be out here. Yes, it will be nice to have her around to help but I’m more excited that she’ll be around to be apart of her granddaughter’s life.
What does the word beginning mean to you?
I’m linking up with Wife of a Sailor today for her new link up, Thursday Thoughts. Head on over and check it out!
