There’s something about fall that makes me want to be crafty. Every fall, without fail, I want to create. Don’t get me wrong, I try to be crafty all year long but I’m not always successful. Maybe because it’s cold outside
This year I’ve mostly been about hair bows for Munchkin. I bought a few from locals at vendor/craft fairs. While they weren’t super expensive, they do add up. Not all of them are difficult and I knew I could make some. So my mom & I have been experimenting and it’s been a lot of fun. Korker bows are my favorite to make. I’ve been trying to branch out and try other kinds too. I need more practice but some of them aren’t half bad, if I do say so myself.
I’ve also been in love with turkey’s with ribbon feathers. I got the idea to make a turkey wreath after seeing Fran’s ghost wreath. Mine’s a little busy but it works for me. I’m not a wreath person so this was a big deal for me. Since I love the turkey so much, I also made a shirt for Munchkin with him on it. He’s a little big but I still think he’s cute. I made the shirt a 2T. It’s a little big this year and I’m hoping it will still fit next year.
Have been creating anything recently?
Very cute. I'm sure Munchkin's shirt will fit just right next year!
