Giving More Thanks

Many Waters Giving More Thanks

I'm thankful for my in-laws. I wish it was easier for us to get together more so they could know Munchkin better, but I'm thankful for the time we are able to spend together.

I'm thankful for those who have served the United States by wearing the uniform of a sailor, solider or airman. Thank you for being willing to risk everything so we can continue to enjoy the freedoms we enjoy today.

I'm thankful for The Man's job and that it provides for all of our needs and most of our wants. I'm so thankful for his hard work to support our family.

I'm thankful that everyday I get to do my dream job: stay at home to take care of my daughter. 10 years ago this wasn't my dream job but there is nothing I'd rather be doing. I love that get to be with her all day and I'm thankful that my husband agrees that it's important for one of us to be home with her. He works hard so I can stay home and it means a lot to me.

I'm thankful that my husband will often get up with the Munchkin and let me sleep a little more. Last night was a little rough and that extra 90 minutes of sleep was amazing. It made my heart happy to wake up to the sounds of a giggle baby being tickled by her Daddy.

I'm thankful for friends. The ones I hung out with last night and others that I see on a regular basis, the ones I don't see often or haven't seen in years, the ones that live in my computer. Thank you for making a difference in my life!

Today I'm thankful that my husband not only tolerates my crafty attempts but encourages them. He doesn't complain when my fabric, ribbon and other crafting supplies end up all over our dining room table and the rest of the house.

What are you thankful for this week?

  1. I'm thankful for my husband who keeps just bought me some art supplies just because I'm in a "crafty" mood. So supportive :)

I love to hear your thoughts, so please share! If you know us in real life, please refrain from using our names to help us keep some semblance of privacy.

Also, I ignore comments that only ask for a follow back. The best way to get me to YOUR blog is to leave comment showing that you've read SOMETHING on my blog. Thanks!
