This Morning

This is what I saw when I woke up this morning:

You're probably thinking, "No big deal!"  What you can't see is the SNOW that's coming down.  They are just baby flakes and at the moment it's just a dusting.  But it's SNOW.  In case you're wondering, I'm not a fan of snow.  I haven't had to deal with it here yet.  We got a few inches right before Thanksgiving but I was in MA so I didn't have to deal with it.  I heard horror stories of friends leaving work early and it taking them 4 hours to get home.  It can be hard to get up some of the hills, especially the steep ones because they don't sand/salt the roads.  I think it has to do with the fishies in the sound.  I'm all for saving the fishies but think that something needs to be put on the roads!  I"m hoping we don't get much accumulation today.

Do you like snow?

  2. I don't like snow. It's just not for me. Mainly because I don't like winter! I prefer warm months. Ha, I don't like to freeze!

  3. I am so over snow and want to move someplace warm! I am tempted to fly away for a few days just to thaw out :)

Snow in Seattle can be tough. They don't know what to do with it, so I feel for you! Hoping it warms up before I come out your way for a quick vacation with my 17yo.

  4. Thank you for your sweet, encouraging comments on my blog.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE snow. I was born and raised in Florida, so for me...snow is super exciting. I think it makes everything look so beautiful. I was in VA during the blizzards last year and it was fun, but shoveling your car out for hours wasn't. Other than that, I do love a few good inches here and there.

  6. I grew up in Michigan so snow was pretty much a given from October through April. Now I live in NJ so we usually get a storm or two during the winter months which usually melts away within the week. We're still digging out from the storm that hit over Christmas and we're supposed to get another storm tomorrow night. But to answer your question... I do like snow as long as I don't have to go anywhere in it :)
