Homemade Pizza Bites

A college friend posted o Facebook that she made homemade pop tarts.  How cool is that?  She share the link and as I was looking at it, I realized I really wanted to make the homemade pizza bites.  I'm not going to post the recipe, but make sure to check out the link!

I tweaked it a bit because I didn't have any yogurt.  While I was living overseas, we weren't able to get sour cream very easily but yogurt was easy to get.  So if sour cream was needed we would often use yogurt instead.  Since I had sour cream, I decided to make the dough with that instead.  It calls for a cup but I put in a little extra, maybe about 2 extra tablespoons?  It turned out just fine!

I also rolled out the dough and the used a 4" biscuit cutter to get my circles.  They may have been a little small...or I may try to put too much in it!  I have that problem with tacos and wraps too.  I will add a little more sauce next time.

DH really enjoyed them and I get to make them again...score!  I love being able to make a convenience food and know what's in it.  These are also perfect for a potluck.  I can't wait to try to make the poptarts!
