Dear Daylight Savings...

I would like my hour of sleep back please.  Some sunshine would be nice too but I understand that it doesn't fall under your jurisdiction.  You might know someone who knows someone and it would be greatly appreciated if you would pass the word along (and would go a long way to helping me like you more this week).  Thank you!

Sincerely,
Poekitten

  2. Think positive! We're getting an extra hour of daylight and Spring is coming!

All I know is that, after staying up unti 3 a.m. Saturday morning, cooking 28 pounds of my "Colcannon" for my hubby's club dinner last night and..working all last night at the club, I'm raring to go today! Happens every year when we "spring ahead".

Even my two cats, Chip & Dale were up early, sitting on my feet, waiting to be fed, lol

Have a lovely day and sneak-in a little nap later!

  3. I'm not a fan of the time change only because it's awful on my body! Even though it's just an hour, it takes a while for me to get adjusted!

  4. I woke up at 11 AM. I don't remember the last time I've slept in this late. I guess my body will have to adjust.

And I'm with you on the sunshine thing! Just clouds here in Washington State.

  6. It was really weird to drive to school this morning in the dark! I wonder where exactly that hour of sleep goes? To playtime, I think! Have a terrific week!

  7. I'd like it to be light out when I wake up at 6:45 every morning please. It's a little hard to get motivated to get up and going when it's still dark outside :)
