Patience

I'm sure it's no surprise to many of you that I've been dealing with nausea.  It's not fun.  Eating small meals/snacks does help but that's been hard.  Cooking has no appeal.  I've also been exhausted and taking lots of naps (which I'm enjoying).  All that to say...that's why I haven't been posting very often.  I appreciate your patience with me while I survive the first trimester.  I have a couple of blog posts in my head...now just to get them written!  You will have a treat this week though.  I'm participating in a Christmas Blog Swap and that will take place on Wednesday so keep your eye out for that!

How is your December going?

  2. I was soooo lucky and had no nausea, but a guy that works in the lab at the hospital here swore to me that mustard would cure it.  He said when the nausea hits eat mustard and it will be gone, and that I could bring him a box of donuts to thank him later.  I don't know if it works but it could be worth a try!!!

  7. Straight mustard? That doesn't even sound appealing! I normally like mustard, so I'm going to blame it on the munchkin:)

  9. Congrats!!!
~Nausea was no fun.  Just try and relax, gets lots of sleep and keep hydrated.  I was the same way.  I barely ate anything the 1st trimester but hopefully it gets better

  12. I'm well into my 2nd trimester and still have no appeal for cooking and some foods just smell horrible.
