"Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." John 15:13.
There are those who are willing to lay down their life for those they don’t know as well.
They go to war, ready and willing to lay down their lives if they need to.
They leave behind families,
Moms and Dads,
Sisters and brothers,
Girlfriends, boyfriends, Fiancés, Wives and Husbands,
Sons, daughters, nieces and nephews,
Grandparents, Aunts and Uncles
as well as friends and other loved ones.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for protecting the freedoms
that we so often take for granted.
So please, enjoy your BBQ’s and other plans for the long weekend.
But don’t forget to take a moment to reflect on those who have given all.
