(Semi) Wordless Wednesday

Many Waters Breastfeeding laying downMany Waters BreastfeedingMany Waters Breastfeeding Sitting   Many Waters Breastfeeding 1 year old

Alyssa of Sumiko Ray Photography, a local photographer, held a breastfeeding mini session on Saturday in honor of World Breastfeeding Week.  I love the images from it!  I love that I’ll have these to remember this precious time once Munchkin is older.  From Munchkin trying to nurse on her tummy to her putting her fingers in my mouth,  each one of these images is a glimpse into these everyday moments.  These moments are fleeting and limited and I’m not taking any for granted.

  2. When did her hair get so blonde!? She looks like a different little girl. And so sweet.

  3. These are so beautiful they make me want to cry! One of my biggest regrets in life is that I didn't get pictures of me nursing Abigail. I have ONE. One picture of the thousands of times I nursed her. I adore this post and those pictures. Seriously adore them.

  4. Just stopping by from Wednesday Walkabout. I absolutely love these pictures and now want to have some taken of me and my baby! I think things like this help open peoples eyes and eliminate stigma.

  5. Thank you!

I never would have though of taking photos of us breastfeeding if someone didn't mention it to me. Otherwise I might have had none! So I've made it a point to take pictures.

  6. Thanks for coming by! Someone suggest taking pictures and I was like That's brilliant! I think you should get some taken! I shared them because I hope it will help normalize it. You can't see anything in them!
