A New Look

If you haven’t visited my actual blog in the last day or two, you might have missed that I have a new look!  I had my other design for about three years…it was time for a change.  The lovely Fran at Freeborbleta Designs created the new layout.  I asked for something that felt like the Pacific Northwest and she delivered.  I love her work and I knew I would love what she came up with for my blog.  I knew it would help that she also loves the Pacific Northwest.
Many Waters

I love all the white and the clean feel it brings to the space.  I love the blue and the Seattle skyline with the fog. I have a thing for the Space Needle.  It’s my favorite landmark.  The design is exactly what I wanted.  Working with Fran was a great experience as well.  She took took my confusing thoughts and created this.  She was quick with the changes I requested and was patient with me when I needed time.  I highly recommend Fran if you’re looking for a new blog design.
To go along with the new design, I’ve freshened up my page at the top.  I was high zealous in deleting pages that I had been wanting to delete for awhile and accidently deleted my About Me page.  So I wrote a new one.  It had been on the list of things to do and kept getting pushed to the bottom of the list.  I added a page where I’ve listed my posts about travel I’ve done.  Between three cross country drives and two cruises and other random trips, there were more than I thought! It’s still a work in progress as is the blog hop page.

I’m hoping that there will be some more changes around here in the coming months.  Thanks so much for being here and for reading.  I appreciate it more than I can say.

  3. I love it, but I LOVE Seattle! My fiance is from there, and I fell in love with it literally the moment I stepped out of the airport the first time I visited there. We hope to get to settle there someday, when we're done with the Army. I'd live there now if it were feasible. His parents actually have a house there in Normandy Park, about 1/8 mile from the water. It is so beautiful there, such a striking difference from my home here in the desert.

  10. It would certainly be nice, but the odds are really low. I guess they don't offer the type of teaching he'll be doing after Korea.
