So last fall while I was browsing on the internet I came across some wooden candy corn. I'm not a huge of candy corn. There's something about it that I just don't like. It kinda tastes like plastic to me. I do think they are cute as decorations though. I was remembering the ones I saw online and decided to make some.

The Man sanding the candy corn. |
I started by finding a
template online. Than I gave it to The Man so he could cut it out of some of the random wood we have around. I would have cut it myself but since I haven't used a power saw since 7th grade (Thanks Mr. Nelson!) I decided to let him do it. Plus it's his saw and if it broke I didn't to be responsible. Then we sanded it down (I sanded another piece, a good will find. I"ll be sharing soon!). Then I added some yellow, orange and white paint and then put some Mod Podge over it.
Here's the finished project:

I'm getting kinda crafty...copying others ideas anyway. I might come up with some of mine own soon.
Have you been making any thing crafty lately?
